What a day!! We literally traveled through the clouds all day to witness this otherworldly scenery.

My 2024 Tennis Season
Tennis is still a THING for me.
My 2024 tennis season started in February due to an unexpected warm winter.
The
past 3 weeks have been brutal - I thought it'd mark the end of the
season! But today, an unexpected "heatwave" came. Under 40F at 12:30pm, I went to play again.
For
the 2024 season, I've played 173 times. I play every morning except
when it's raining or below 32F or above 75F or when I'm out on vacation.
And, I only play tennis OUTDOOR!

Last year, 2022, I played tennis outdoor from 6/7/22 to 11/26/22 for a total of 77 times. I considered it as my "tennis season."
This
year, the season started early on 4/8/23, and it lasted all the way
through 12/15/23, for a total of 158 times. I'm not sure if this is the
END of my "tennis season". If it goes into 2024, how would I define the
"season?"
Nonetheless, tennis is a THING for me now. Looking forward to the next season -- or the continuation of this season into 2024.

The Good Doctor
Have you watched the TV show "The Good Doctor" debuted on 9/25/2017?
It
was on ABC every Monday night. Since I couldn't watch it regularly during week days, I have
been waiting to watch it on Netflix or Amazon Prime. Well, it never
happened until 10/22/2024 when we got to Slovenia. By a random chance, I
saw it on Netflix. Watched many episodes while traveling in Europe.
Upon
arriving home from vacation, the first thing I did was trying to watch
The Good Doctor. To my surprise, I couldn't find it. After several calls
into Netflix and patiently waiting for 4 weeks, I finally learned that
Netflix doesn't have a licensing agreement for The Good Doctor in North
America. Yes, it's available in Europe, Japan and
maybe the entire Asia. It's just not available here in Netflix's home
country.
The
show maybe controversial. I love it and believe that the world could be
a much better place if there were more Shaun Murphy -- more people with
simplicity, purity, and honesty.
For the sake of my fellow Americans, I sent an email to Netflix in hope it will become available here in the US soon.
Hello!
Please
consider adding The Good Doctor to the US licensing agreement. We
Americans deserve to watch this show. I've had Netflix for a long time,
and I have to say the quality of the shows in the US is declining
fast,
which is very unfortunate. Please make The Good Doctor available to the US customers.
Thank you!!

Funes Valley
These photos are so insignificant compared to the roads we traveled, clouds we saw and sunlights we met...
Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?

Lake Bled
Not sure about you, but I have, for years, had nightmares about me going to school without my backpack... It never happened to me in real life until October 26, 2024.
It
was a beautiful morning with red clouds and a thin layer of fog over the mountains right
before the sunrise. We drove almost 30 minutes to Lake Bled in such
excitement because, finally, we could take some good photos of this
magical place with perfect lights... When we arrived at the parking lot,
the hard reality hit me - I didn't bring my camera bag containing 2
cameras and 2 lenses!!
Yeah,
for a second, I did want to kill myself. But to my surprise, the
thought went away within a second. I was so happy to just be there - be present, be
able to enjoy the amazing place with such level of calmness and peace.
To live means to be present - joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely present!
Here are the 2 photos I captured with my iPhone in that beautiful morning.

Alps Mountains
May your trails be winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above clouds where storms come and go…
