Please allow me to show off what I collected on this trip 😊
Attachment 1 = The front of the stamp book, displaying all the stamps collected along the Camino.
Attachment 2 = The back of the stamp book, featuring a map of the Camino and some additional stamps that couldn’t fit on the front page.
Attachment 3 = The certificate issued to me by the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.
The certificate is in Spanish. Here is the English translation:
All days and nights, as if in one continuous solemnity, are spent there in unceasing joy for the glory of the Lord and the Apostle. The doors of that same basilica are never closed by day or night, and it is in no way permitted for darkness to be found in it (cf. Rev 21:25), for it shines like midday with the splendid light of lamps and candles. (Codex Calixtinus)
The Chapter of the Holy Apostolic Metropolitan Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, located in the western region of the Spains, to all who shall see this letter of certification of visit, makes known that:
Pei Tang
has visited the Basilica where, from time immemorial, Christians have venerated the body of the Blessed Apostle James.
On this occasion, the Chapter, moved by the duty of charity, and with joy, gives the pilgrim the greeting of the Lord and asks, through the intercession of the Apostle, that the Father deign to grant them the spiritual riches of the pilgrimage, as well as material blessings. May Santiago bless you, and may you be blessed.
Given in Compostela, the end point of the Camino de Santiago, on the 6th day of the month of October of the year 2026.
After completing 115 km from Sarria, where the pilgrimage began on the 2nd of October 2026, along the route of the Camino Francés.
Manuel Jesús Formoso Fernández
Dean of the Holy Apostolic Metropolitan Cathedral of Compostela
Buen Camino!
