The Good Doctor

Have you watched the TV show "The Good Doctor" debuted on 9/25/2017? 

It was on ABC every Monday night. Since I couldn't watch it regularly during week days, I have been waiting to watch it on Netflix or Amazon Prime. Well, it never happened until 10/22/2024 when we got to Slovenia. By a random chance, I saw it on Netflix. Watched many episodes while traveling in Europe.

Upon arriving home from vacation, the first thing I did was trying to watch The Good Doctor. To my surprise, I couldn't find it. After several calls into Netflix and patiently waiting for 4 weeks, I finally learned that Netflix doesn't have a licensing agreement for The Good Doctor in North America. Yes, it's available in Europe, Japan and maybe the entire Asia. It's just not available here in Netflix's home country.

The show maybe controversial. I love it and believe that the world could be a much better place if there were more Shaun Murphy -- more people with simplicity, purity, and honesty. 

 

For the sake of my fellow Americans, I sent an email to Netflix in hope it will become available here in the US soon.

Please consider adding The Good Doctor to the US licensing agreement. We Americans deserve to watch this show. I've had Netflix for a long time, and I have to say the quality of the shows in the US is declining fast, which is very unfortunate. Please make The Good Doctor available to the US customers.
