I am reading the book "Alone in Antarctica" by Felicity Aston.
Felicity
Aston, a British polar explorer, physicist, and meteorologist, took two
months off from all human contact to become the first and only woman in
the world to ski alone across the entire continent of Antarctica.
Aston's journey across the ice at the bottom of the world asked of her
the extremes of mental and physical bravery. Her experience revealed
her incredible ability to manage human vulnerabilities in the vast sea
of whiteness under the extreme solitary confinement.
This story is true inspiration for each and every one of us to venture beyond our comfort zone...
