After 4 LONG months of not touching my camera, but with the efforts from last weekend and yesterday, it finally feels like I am back to my elements -- slowly, but surely...

Summer is going to be a slow season for photography, so I am taking it easy and trying to find simple pleasure and beauty around me!

Dr. Michelle, the world traveler at age 1, in flight from San Francisco to Tokyo and then to Beijing on 9/17/1991.

 

It's pretty hard to imagine that people would one day put their lives in the hands of this little cutie and trust that she will be able to fix their problems...

 

When you think about it, life is pretty unimaginable.  As we chase these little guys day in and day out, year in and year out, it never occurs to our wildest imaginations how they would turn out at age 25.  We might think we did something to them along the way, but we really didn't.  Each little creature has its own paths in this world.  They run around aimlessly, initially, then with some vague directions, and then with intense focus...  Eventually, they will all be able to make their own ways and leave their own marks in this life time -- good, bad or ugly.  As they grow older and become wiser, they might look back on their journeys and, hopefully, be able to smile...
